Just got this Suhr Classic. Great sounding guitar. It doesn't have the Silent Single Coil system, and since I was sitting close to a fairly loud amp, there is some single coil hum present.
http://www.dolphinst reet.com - The classic song by Chuck Berry. I am not playing it exactly like Chuck did it - this is my own version. Also, the original is in Bb, but I play it in A just for simplicity.
http://www.dolphinst reet.com - a fast country picking lick. This lick sounds best when picked fairly fast. Guitar Pro file available from http://www.dolphinst reet.com

This is a line I picked up from listening to Charlie Parker. Here's a lesson on how to play it.

http://www.dolphinst reet.com - playing my new Heatseeker 18 watt tube amp for the first time. I play through an Avatar 2x12 cab with Eminence Wizards. No pedals used - guitar, cable, amp, speakers - that's it. See http://www.mackamps. com/products_Amp_hs_ 18.asp for product info.

You don't have to play G Major scale note after note - try triads to break away from the scale approach!
http://www.dolphinst reet.com/guitar_vide o_lessons/lesson-29. php - Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd is the song everyone requests at gigs! My website has the Tab.
About my arms - I am a marathon runner - that's why they look skinny and why my veins are big.
http://www.dolphinst reet.com - my Squier Telecaster with DiMarzio Virtual T pickups, through my Heatseeker HS-18 tube amp. Pedals: 19 Sixty 3 clean boost and Zonkin Yellow Screamer. Avatar 2 x 12 with Eminence Wizard speakers.

Messin' around with the Digitech Whammy on the Octave 1 up setting, and using the Digitech JamMan as well to build some loops.
http://www.dolphinst reet.com Superstitious - a very cool song by Stevie Wonder. Here's a way to play it, inspired somewhere between Stevie Wonder and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
http://www.dolphinst reet.com - I just replaced the stock 12" radius neck with a 9.5" radius MIM 60th Anniversary maple neck. I really like it. Here I use a 19 Sixty 3 clean boost on the clean sounds, and a Zonkin Yellow Screamer for the overdriven tones. Amp is a Reverend Hellhound.

These two pedals by Danelectro do a good job of the vibe thing. Notice how the Cool Cat vibe increases the volume slightly. Also notice how it takes a couple of seconds before you can hear the effect after pressing the pedal.

Here's the inexpensive but great sounding Cool Cat Fuzz, by Danelectro. This fuzz won't cost you much and you get true bypass and a sturdy metal encased pedal. Get one!

Albert King and others like SRV used this type of lick repeatedly in their playing. You can too!
I am using a Squier Tele and a Heatseeker 18 watt tube amp, made by Mack amps. The pedal is a Cool Cat Drive, by Danelectro

Here's my Fulltone Clyde Wah together with my Maxon SD-9 distortion pedal. My wah was made in 2001. Here I ran the distortion before the Fulltone wah.
