mischmetal, ferroceri um,Lighter "flint" is composed mostly of an alloy of rare earth metals called mischmetal, containing approximately 50% cerium and 45% lanthanum, with small amounts of neodymium and praseodymium. The origin of its easy sparking is cerium's low temperature pyrophoricity, its ignition temperature occurring between 150 and 180 degrees celsius.

9 Volts @ 550 mAmps = 4.5 Watt
I have made some experiments using different electrodes to see what happens. When I used these electrodes I get more hho gas than when I used the others electrodes. I have make the same experiment with very cold water and I obtain a good amount of hho gas.

So even though my video isn't much better the sound has improved but more importantly these are NOT 2mm elctrodes but 6.8mm electrodes. Two sets of electrodes are evolving gas and I continue to learn. I have also moved to a single 12VDC cell for input power to the SEC 15-3 exciter. The field surrounding this experiment is massive.
